Horsehead and Flame Nebulae

Here is another one that I’ve had in the wings for a while. I started imaging the region around the Horsehead Nebula in the constellation Orion back in January 2026. Smoke and clouds limited the imaging time, but I took advantage of a brief respite from the smoke recently to gather enough data to put together a fair image.

Horsehead and Flame Nebulae. Reflection/emission nebula NGC 2023 is located above and left of the Horsehead. 224x120s at 60 gain on the Dwarf 3, processed in Siril.
